Is this a sticker or a skin?
Polycarbonate hardcase using our permanent printing process. It is embedded into the case itself and will not peel off or fade.
What are your cases made out of?
Our cases have to withstand the heat of our printing process as such we use a special resin that is significantly stronger and more flexible than normal polycarbonate. The case have a smooth gloss finish to ensure the highest quality print design.
Is the image going to peel or rub off?
No, the printing process is completely permanent. The technology we use actually embeds the ink into the plastic 80 microns deep making it scratch and UV resistant. Your design isn’t going anywhere.
How do I attach the case?
Just place your device on top of the case and push down, voila! Our snap-on cases are designed for a snug fit, so won’t come off even if you drop your device. (But try not to)
Can I personalise my case?
Yes, we have a range of cases you can add names, photos and messages to! Take a look in the menus at the top and you’ll find a link.
What are the file size requirements for uploading my own art or photo?
We use industry leading print technology, which requires a high resolution image. For a single image we recommend a minimum of 1600 x 1600 pixels on a smartphone and 2000 x 2000 for an iPad. If you want to use one of our layouts with multiple images they can be smaller in terms of resolution but we recommend using the best quality images possible. We keep an eye on images so if necessary we may ask you to provide a better quality image if we think the end result will be poor.
How do I know if my photo or image is large enough to meet the minimum image size requirements?
You can check the size of your image by looking at the ‘properties’ of the file (‘get info’ on a Mac) and looking at the dimensions of it. If it is below 1600 x 1600 then the image is too small to cover the print area. Here are some things you can check:
- Is this an image from the web or a mobile phone? Most images from the web or a mobile phone are low resolution, which will not be large enough to cover the print area of the case.
- If you’ve selected an image from a photo sharing site such as Flickr or Picasa, you may need to go back to the site and search for information on downloading the full size picture.
- If you’re still stuck we would be more than happy to speak with you, just give us a ring on 0208 616 0625 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Will my case look exactly how I designed it?
We use a sophisticated printing process to produce high quality, photographic quality images. Due to potential differences between your monitor’s colour calibration settings and our technology the colour you see on your screen and the colour on the case might not be exactly same. Don’t worry though, our colour profiling ensures that all images come out looking great.
Does this case offer complete shock protection?
Our cases provide great protection against everyday wear and tear. The cases are shatterproof and have special impact zones to protect your phone against common drops. That said no case will completely protect your phone. our ‘tough’ cases offer an extra level of protection.
Can I return or exchange my personalised case?
Unfortunately, because your personalised case design is unique, we can’t offer returns or exchanges on them unless they are defective or arrive damaged in which case just send it back to us and we’ll provide a replacement and a refund of your postage immediately.
